We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team onsite in Santa Clara, CA with a strong background in Data Engineering & technical expertise for IT business operations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and reports that provide insights into the performance and efficiency of our IT organization. You will join a global team of high performing professionals to stand up a business intelligence capability that will enable us to analyze the business of IT from various facets including finances, people, work, technology, applications, and business capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform, and integrate data from disparate source systems.
Build and optimize data models that support Data transformations and Engineering needs for the Business of IT.
Create and deliver objects and dashboards that provide actionable insights into the performance and efficiency of our IT organization.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and data analysts to understand and define data requirements, metrics, and KPIs.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across data sources and reports.
Research and evaluate new data sources, tools, and technologies to enhance our data model and analytics capabilities.
Document and communicate data engineering and analytics processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Proficient in SQL and Python, and familiar with other programming languages.
3+ years in developing full-stack data frameworks, including ETL/ELT, data analysis, compute and storage, data pipelines, and orchestration.
Must have hands-on experience in Cloud Architecture (Azure, GCP, AWS) and cloud-based databases (Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift), as well as various data integration techniques (API, stream, file) using DBT, SQL/PySpark, and Python.
Must have experience in leading data engineering teams with planning and execution using Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) within a DevSecOps model.
Experience with unstructured data processing and real-time data pipelines.
Ability to Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

U.S. Salary Range:
$110,500.00 - $152,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
