As a Workforce Development – Training Specialist at Berry Global, you’ll play a pivotal role in empowering our Consumer Packaging North America division. You’ll be the driving force behind the seamless scheduling and logistics of our training programs, ensuring every team member has the resources they need to thrive. Your expertise in managing our Learning Management System (LMS) will be crucial in maintaining a well-organized and effective training landscape. Reporting directly to the Workforce Development Director, you’ll also provide vital support to the Workforce Development team, making a significant impact on our collective success.
Working Conditions
· This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, with travel.
· Occasional travel to various training locations is required, estimated to be up to 25%.

Responsibilities
· Scheduling and Logistics: Orchestrate the scheduling and logistics for training sessions, ensuring all necessary resources and materials are ready to go.
· Administrative Duties: Provide essential administrative and technical support to elevate training across the division.
· Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the go-to person for outside vendor partners, addressing inquiries and offering support to employees and trainers.
· Training Effectiveness: Monitor and evaluate the impact of training programs, gathering feedback and making improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
· Compliance: Ensure all training activities align with company policies and governmental regulations.
· Data Management: Keep training records, databases, and employee training files accurate and up-to-date.
· Reporting: Prepare and present insightful reports on training progress and outcomes to management.
· Team Support: Collaborate closely with the Workforce Development team to support various initiatives and projects across the division.
Qualifications
· Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
· Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Training, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
· Skills:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
