Based in Franklin, KY, with additional facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, the Berry Global Tapes business is a leading manufacturer of pressure-sensitive tapes (specialty, foil, film, and duct) and adhesives. Offering more than 1,500 specialty SKUs across 500+ distinct product families to its diverse base of 1,500+ customers, the Tapes Business provides specialty tapes and adhesives products to top customers serving the HVAC, Building & Construction, Industrial, Retail, Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, and other specialty industries. Berry Global recently announced that Nautic Partners, LLC will acquire the Tapes business in early 2025.
As a Creative Services Specialist, you’ll be a key player on our dynamic marketing team. This is an opportunity to shape how we communicate our brand and support our valued customers. You'll collaborate with a fun and talented group of marketers, packaging engineers, and private label partners to bring packaging designs to life and create eye-catching marketing content that tells our story.

The position will be based out of Franklin, KY or Remote.
Responsibilities
Packaging Design and Private Label Coordination:
- Collaborate with packaging engineers, private label customers, and internal teams to ensure packaging designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee the packaging artwork approval process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and customer guidelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for private label customers, ensuring their packaging requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, implement feedback, and track packaging projects through completion.
- Maintain and document all packaging-related project details, timelines, and status updates.
Artwork Review and Quality Assurance:
- Review and approve all print artwork materials to ensure compliance with quality standards, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to designers and vendors to improve artwork quality and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and ensure timely approvals for production.
- Monitor print schedules, communicate project status, and address potential delays or issues proactively.
Graphic Design and Marketing Support:
- Design and update marketing materials, including brochures, product literature, presentations, and promotional content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually compelling graphics that align with brand identity and messaging.
- Assist in the development and refinement of visual assets for digital and print platforms.
- Ensure all marketing collateral meets quality standards and is delivered on schedule.
Process Improvement and Reporting:
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Document processes and maintain detailed records of project milestones, approvals, and revisions.
- Generate reports on project activities and provide recommendations for future enhancements.
Qualifications
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to review and ensure artwork accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with print production processes.
- Knowledge of packaging design standards and regulatory compliance is a plus.
- Ability to think critically and provide creative solutions to complex challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in packaging design, graphic design, or a similar role.
- Understanding of branding principles, design trends, and print production workflows.
- Willingness to travel as needed to collaborate with customers and vendors on complex projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capable of adjusting to changing priorities and work demands.
- Deep experience in MS Suites (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
