Summary: We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician and Coordinator to maintain, repair and ensuring all aspects of our facilities, warehouse structures and grounds to ensure safe and efficient 24/7 operation and coordinate work with third party vendors. This awesome Maintenance Coordinator has extensive maintenance or general contractor experience and takes pride in their safety mindset, resourcefulness and is very hands on.

Responsibilities
- Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and provides clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.
- Oversees the maintenance of all building-related systems and arranges the maintenance of all equipment pertaining to the building facility and warehouse, including but not limited to heavy and light equipment, HVAC systems, coolers, chillers, lighting, security systems, electrical, illumination and speaker systems, sanitation and cleaning equipment. Supports and investigates situations in which line/equipment stoppage or facility shut down occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk.
- Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
- Actively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving prioritized corrective and preventative actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health, and safety risks.
- Lead all required safety meetings (i.e. Pre-shift, MOC,NRTHA etc.).
- Participates in incident investigations, root cause analysis and implements corrective actions accordingly in a timely and thorough manner.
- Conducts required training on selected safety topics as identified and assigned by their immediate supervisor.
- Communicates with supervisor to resolve problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Coordinate and integrate the activities of all operational systems within the facility to ensure safe, seamless efficiency.
- Supervise and facilitate outside vendors while working on the property or facility. · Help monitor the facility and property for compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations, including electrical systems, security systems and equipment and fire alarms.
- Create and monitor procedures for preventive maintenance on all key operational equipment vital to the facility
- Provide technical assistance for other departments and technicians. · Report on relative performance and reliability of facility equipment and processes.
- Purchase required parts and equipment for the facility, including writing capex’s and helping with cost justifications and analysis.
- Facilitate all internal and external equipment moves and installations.

Education and/or Experience
· Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
· Experience: In additions to the educational requirements, previous manufacturing experience preferred. Individuals with 2 – 4 year technical degree highly desirable.
