Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of Maintenance Department including injection molding equipment, dry offset printing equipment and building maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Accountable for the safety of the team through active engagement in safety activities and provides clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.
- Establish and maintain PM schedule for all production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair all production equipment as required
- Train, and direct all maintenance technician activities
- Coordinate and conduct all machine moves, upgrades and installations
- Maintain and operate within budget requirements
- Monitor and improve machine efficiency and uptime; part containment; etc to meet or exceed all production and budget commitments
- Interview, hire, train, and direct all maintenance activities in coordination with group leaders: 12 hr. shift Maintenance Technicians
- Establish and maintain PM schedule for all production equipment including:

- Injection Molding Machines
- Robots and stackers
- Part collection conveyors
- Material conveyance systems
- Air compressors and delivery system
- Maintain repair and PM records as required by ISO system
- Monitor and ensure completion of all work orders in a timely manner
- Coordinate and conduct all machine moves, upgrades and installations
- Troubleshoot and repair all production equipment as required
- Coordinate mold and stacker set-ups with molding and tooling departments
- Work with vendors to negotiate price and delivery of machine repair parts; etc.
- Maintain and operate within budget requirements
- Obtain quotes and utilize contractors as required
- Monitor and improve machine efficiency and uptime; part containment; etc to meet or exceed all production and budget commitments
- Monitor and improve electrical efficiencies
- Provide and track cost savings as related to utilities; repair parts; down-time; etc.
- Recommend and oversee installation of technological improvements in relation to increased output; labor reduction; reduced operating costs; etc.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and present all plant maintenance data as required
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing, performance appraisals, addressing complaints and resolving problems of all facility maintenance personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One-year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and fundamentals of plane and geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
