Responsibilities
- Understand and implement all safety rules and policies on a daily basis
- Troubleshoot after molding process problems- Monitor machine/operator productivity to reduce downtime and meet expectations- Ensure excellent quality product on assigned machines- Maintain a safe working environment- Effectively communicate machine, tooling, and quality problems- Develop a team environment on the shop floor- Participate in on-going training programs- Perform Inspector/Packer and/or Material Handler duties as necessary- Perform other duties assigned- Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing software and order processing systems
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
