Responsibilities
- Interfaces daily with Maintenance Manager to plan and implement work priorities.
- Attends and participates in daily pre-shift safety meetings.
- Performs as the key maintenance resource to the production shift assigned, providing accurate and timely responses to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Safely performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to the maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing of all facility production equipment, support equipment and structures.
- Uses the company CMMS to schedule, track and log the details of all work issued from the work order system.
- Utilizes the JDE system / scanner to properly sign parts out of the parts room.
- Utilizes the correct PPE as required for the job at hand, and properly uses Lockout / Tagout and other safety systems as required by the company.
- Completes all assigned work in a timely and professional manner, with accuracy and to established standards.
- Works directly with vendors and contractors as needed to resolve maintenance related issues within the facility or on the equipment.
- Trains other technicians as needed in tasks where they have high levels of expertise.
- Orders parts and materials as needed to support PM’s, projects, etc.
- Completes all required paperwork, filing and purging as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, including a working knowledge of electrical systems (advanced electrical knowledge is highly desired), along with developed mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics skillsets. Experience with hand and power tools a must. Knowledge in machinery used in flexographic printing and blown film manufacturing highly desired.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret standard technical documentation such as electrical / pneumatic / hydraulic schematics, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
