Responsibilities
Maintain or exceed machine efficiency set by Supervisor.
Identifying upgrade solutions to improve output and efficiency.
Coordinate purchase of improvements with engineers, maintenance, and support teams.
Implement and maintain line policies set by Management.
Coordinate with maintenance/scheduling when repair/improvements are required.
Coordinate timeline of large repair / improvements maintenance/scheduling/process as needed.
Interact and supplement support with Thermoforming Maintenance / Process when time permits.
Perform periodic walk-thru of production lines to identify repair and PM points of interest.
Have the ability to sample new tooling / equipment as required.
Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements.
Purchase supplies to ease the use of equipment and to promote and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Industrial Maintenance/equivalent plus 5 years Thermoforming experience (a plus).
Proven ability to lead, motivate and direct employees.
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders or steps regularly.
Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms or horns.
Excellent communication skills utilizing various methods of communication.
Able to use both hands for effective manipulation of tools/parts in overhead and awkward positions.
Stereoscopic vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision of 70 degrees or greater and ability to read 10-12 point font at a distance of 12-18 inches.
Ability to work in dusty/smoky environment on a regular basis.
Must have the ability to be on-call for any shift as necessary.
