The Shift Maintenance Technician provides maintenance support to buildings, injection molding machines, automation equipment as assigned by Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures.
- Installs and performs preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and equipment (closing machines, feeder bowls, etc.) as required.-Reconditions used equipment.
- Troubleshoots hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems on injection molding machines to ensure continuous production under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.-Authorized to take out of service any machine or equipment that is deemed to be unsafe or that would further deteriorate with continued use.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- English required/Spanish preferred
Technical Skills:
- Mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Familiar with automation and vision systems.
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of injection molding machine functions and controls.
Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing environment. Some exposure to office environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
