Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Mechanic’s primary functions are install, trouble Shoot, repair, erect, dismantle, assembles and maintains all plant equipment, machinery and structures.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES: Follow all safety rules and SOP’s Record keeping and general administrative duties. Participation in team activities and team meetings. Active participation in problem solving initiatives. Able to be trained and to train others. Maintain cleanliness of plant and facility. Advancement in job skills. Possess basic computer skills and ability to share statistical performance data. Prior experience operating/maintaining industrial machinery/equipment. Attend any and all training classes provided by the company. Setup and troubleshooting of Mod-Packers and Robot Packers Work in close cooperation with set up, post molding technicians and communicate effectively with all departments. Must be able to keep parts room neat and orderly and maintain inventory. Must be punctual and have minimum attendance discrepancies. Other duties as assigned. Able to lift up to 35lbs.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: High school degree or equivalent. Mechatronics degree preferred Basic computer skills and ability to share statistical performance data. Pass drug screen, physical, and background check. Communication skills both written and verbal. Able to work continuous operation schedule (days/nights/weekends). Be available to work a reasonable amount of overtime, if required. Communication of quality issues to production/quality personnel in a timely manner. Prior experience operating/maintaining industrial machinery/equipment. Ability to read, interpret and perform the physical requirements related to the SOP’s. Able to read prints electrical, mechanical. hydraulics, and pneumatics and able to trouble shoot and make necessary repairs.
