Job Title Manufacturing Liaison Specialist

General Role Description
Facilitate US manufacturing and business unit teams for effective communication, efficient and high-quality product delivery, and streamlined issue resolution
Role Accountabilities
- Monitor project schedules, identify high-risk shipments, and recommend and implement solutions
- Monitor order status, expedite critical parts to achieve timely delivery of equipment, in collaboration with management
- Facilitate real-time resolution of issues with decision-makers and process experts
- Confirm availability of drawings and specifications
- Facilitate communication between BU and manufacturing locations regarding client requirements and expectations
- Create and monitor order-related milestones over the course of the project lifecycle, updating the ERP accordingly
- Identify and assess operational risks by analyzing trends and collaborating with BU management to develop and implement mitigation plans that improve service quality and reduce supply and delivery disruptions
- Ensure key information about the BU performance is acquired and monitored, in coordination with BU management

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in related technical or business analysis field or equivalent via education and/or work experience
- 3 years' project or program management; business analysis; logistics, manufacturing, systems, application or technical service engineering experience in a technical environment
- Demonstrated acumen to develop effective strategies and determine appropriate priorities for improved business results
- Proven ability to deal with complex topics, interpret data, spot trends, draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Proven ability to work effectively, influence without authority, and achieve business goals collaboratively across all functions and levels of an organization
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on, tactical work
- Demonstrated success developing, implementing, measuring, and improving effective processes in functional areas
- Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and an ERP business system
- Availability to work in multiple facilities, as needed
- Availability to travel, domestically, up to 25%, sometimes with limited notice
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional or matrix team to accomplish business goals
- Demonstrated proficiency in process mapping, 6 Sigma methodology, Lean Mfg, or equivalent
