We are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Warehouse team and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Director of Warehouse and Facilities and will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively motivate the team, manage operational processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse personnel to achieve performance goals and uphold safety standards.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company policies.
- Monitor warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with other departments to support production schedules and customer orders.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
Specific Skills:
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred).
- Prior experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or equivalent role (3-5 years preferred).
- Warehouse or material handling experience; experience in regulaed manufacturing (vitamins, supplements, food, or pharma) strongly preferred
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
- Understanding of inventory control metrics and analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to assess operational problems and implement solutions efficiently.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Work & Physical Environment:
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
- Must be punctual and prepated to being work at scheduled start times.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for 8–10 hours per day.
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled warehouse environments.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
Pay: $27.00/hr - $29.00/hr
