Job Summary:

As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of injection molding machines, as well as the upkeep and remodulation of facility equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various industrial machinery to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform repair and maintenance of injection molding machines to support production efficiency.
Conduct facility maintenance and repair tasks, including air compressors, piping, water towers, and other related equipment.
Engage in facility remodulation activities to optimize production environments and equipment setups.
Apply knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical principles to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
Utilize welding, lathe, milling, and surface grinding machines to repair or modify equipment as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience in machine repair and facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with welding, operating lathe, milling, and surface grinding machines.
Certifications in machine maintenance or related technical fields are a plus.
Basic knowledge of computer systems for maintenance, tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks simultaneously.
Capable of working independently or as part of a maintenance team.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with production, facility, and maintenance teams.
Ability to clearly document and communicate maintenance activities and equipment status.
