Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Mechanical engineer with Solidworks experience to design frame and components for automated equipment:
-Create mechanical designs and concepts for Verista products and complex custom automated equipment.
-Manage prints, mechanical drawings and related documentation.
-Interact with Verista vendors to obtain quotes, and/or specify components & assemblies that meet requirements of cost, quality, and delivery.
-Manage the mechanical Bill of Materials.
-Troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues encountered during mechanical assembly or system functionality testing activities.
-Understanding each client’s/project’s quality standards, cGMPs, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance of development and validation of mechanical systems.
-Adherence to project schedule for all assigned activities.
-Maintaining clear, detailed records of activities.
-May support multiple projects scheduled simultaneously.
- High- level capability to develop models, drawings, and renderings using Solidworks CAD software.
- Capability of effectively communicating (written and orally) with project team members and management.
- Capacity to make independent sound decisions and independently manage priorities.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with and tolerance for high levels of challenge and change.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- GMP and GDP knowledge
