The eCommerce Project and Application Integration Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Berry’s Corporate IT teams and the divisional eCommerce IT groups. This position will prioritize IT initiatives and testing strategies as the MyBerry eCommerce platform expands its operations. The Liaison will oversee system testing across the MyBerry, JDE and K2 workflow platforms to ensure a seamless integration process that supports business growth.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary liaison between the Corporate IT groups and the divisional eCommerce IT group, prioritizing projects and operational needs
· Coordinate the testing strategies for applications across MyBerry, K2, JDE and other bolt on platforms, ensuring thorough validation and risk assessment
· Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT leadership and business stakeholders regarding integration projects and eCommerce initiatives
· Lead efforts to define system requirements and propose strategies for integration new product lines into the MyBerry eCommerce platform
· Access and evaluate divisional eCommerce initiatives to identify potential alignment with corporate IT capabilities, ensuring compliance and data integrity
· Oversee the design and execution of test plans for new eCommerce features and integrations, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
· Establish and maintain documentation and communication protocols to share project statuses, insights and challenges with cross-functional teams
· Analyze project outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance future integration efforts and overall system connectivity
· Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of new systems and processes
· As needed, help lead and manage ERP conversion projects and associated application integrations, ensuring successful implementation and integration of acquired businesses.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance ERP readiness: assist in evaluating potential replacements for our current ERP system and associated bolt on systems. Assessing system requirements, identifying potential risks, and proposing sound strategies for a seamless transition.
· Drive the design, testing and implementation of possible new ERP solutions. Play a key role in the end-to-end process of designing, testing and rolling out possible new ERP or bolt on solutions. Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth integration, proper testing and timely delivery of key milestones.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a robust Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring the successful management and execution of IT projects, including resource allocation, risk management and timeline adherence.
· Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, tools and processes within the PMO to enhance efficiency, productivity and communication across the IT department, enabling more effective project planning, execution and delivery.
· Provide guidance and support to project teams in creating project charters, defining project scope, identifying key milestones, developing project plans to ensure alignment with PMO framework and best practices for successful project delivery.
· Ensure network, applications, and support are in place for conversions, collaborating with IT leadership in all areas.
· Analyze discovery documents and work with key business stakeholders to determine necessary software changes and resource requirements for conversions.
· Provide ongoing system support for supported applications and ERP modules.
· Evaluate the readiness of plants implementing ERP systems or processes through constant evaluation, feedback, and metric review.
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
· Proven experience in project management with a focus on system integration and relationship-building across departments
· Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
· Ability to work with VP-level executives and interact effectively with IT users
· Experienced in managing large-scale projects in a collaborative, indirect reporting environment.
· Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a capacity for managing uncertainty
· Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and executing project timelines
· Technical aptitude with a strong understanding of system interfacing and integration methodologies
Preferred:
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or commitment to obtain it
· Familiarity with project management tools, particularly Adobe WorkFront, is a plus
· Experience managing projects with strategic long-term objectives (1-2 years)
· Technical background and exposure to integration technologies relevant to eCommerce and ERP systems
