What we need
We are looking to hire Material Handlers (Forklift Operators) for our Warehouse team at Alphacomm as we transform the company and industry. The Material Handler will be responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, staging areas, and trailers. The operator will be responsible for following the job duties within the warehouse while operating in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to our Production Manager.

Alphacomm custom designs, manufactures and distributes wireless accessories to over 18,000 points of distribution, primarily in the Prepaid wireless market in North America. Alphacomm leads the wireless industry in the number of carrier brands managed and is the first to market carrier-licensed accessory portfolios for over fifty devices launched annually. In-house brands, Quikcell and BosBos, are leading brands designed and manufactured by Alphacomm for the Prepaid channel.
Responsibilities
· Loads product, unloads product, receives product, ship’s product, moves materials at elevated heights, and issues material using system transactions.
· Able to operate sit down propane and electric forklift as well as electric cherry picker.
· Occasionally operating carts, dollies, and other moving equipment to move large quantities of merchandise.
· Unloading received containers and breaking down/sorting product after it has been checked in.
· Working safely around conveyors and racks.
· Working and communicating effectively in a team environment to efficiently complete orders.
· Any special tasks assigned by management.
· Must have a high school diploma or (GED).
· Being able to work overtime and weekends on an as needed basis.
· Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
· Have 2+ years’ experience with sit down, reach, and picker lift trucks.
· Have experience performing daily inspections of fork truck equipment.
· Have RF Scanner experience.
· Knowledge of WMS system required. NetSuite preferred.
· Must complete and pass the Alphacomm Lift Truck Safety test.
· Ability to lift, push, pull up to 30 pounds.
