Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Learning Coordinator to join our Learning Team in our Fulfillment Center in Houston, Texas! The ideal candidate must have the knowledge, training, and experience to train others on how to safely operate within our workplace.
What you'll do:
- Conduct training on all process paths for newly hired employees
- Partner with on-the-floor trainers to maintain consistency of process training
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and remediation training as needed
- Facilitate courses or learning sessions with all process job roles and with Leadership as needed
- Administrative tasks include updating and coordinating learning materials, recording completed trainings, schedule training sessions with leadership and real-time auditing of training
- Maintain observations on the operations floor to retain process knowledge and find gaps in the training process
- Complete other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Facilitation/presentation skills
- Operate in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer happiness
- Detail oriented and excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize, lead and complete projects with tight time limitations
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift-up to 50 pounds as needed
- Proficiency in computer usage, email, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Can work flexible schedules / shifts as needed for a 7-day operation
Bonus:
- 2+ years of successful training experience and confirmed proficiency in delivering and crafting process training
- Understanding of fulfillment/distribution center/warehouse processes and flow
- Well-developed observational and analytical skills
- Shown proficiencies for planning daily/weekly tasks and adapting to challenging demands
