Overview:
We are seeking motivated candidates with a strong work ethic to join our manufacturing team. No prior manufacturing experience is required. This role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Perform fault clearing and resolve stoppages on automated equipment.
- Execute basic manufacturing tasks such as dispensing raw materials, material reconciliation, and line clearance.
- Conduct equipment inspections and generate maintenance work orders in the Maximo system.
- Identify alarms and correct line stoppages using Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Support inventory management through SAP transactions and electronic batch records.
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining documentation, including procedures, job plans, and batch records.
- Train peers on manufacturing processes, equipment use, and operational tasks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Report discrepancies to supervisors to maintain operational integrity and safety.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED + 1 year of work or military experience, OR Associate Degree.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and extended hours.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with GMP practices or automated manufacturing systems is a plus.
