Job Description:
Louis Martin Custom Knives is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Filler to help fulfill customer orders. As an Order Filler, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in fulfilling customer needs. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick products based on order sheets and customer requests.
Inspect knives and related products to ensure quality before packing.
Pack orders securely and ensure proper labeling for shipment.
Maintain organized storage areas and track inventory as required.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch of orders.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and packing machinery (training provided).
Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping goals and order accuracy.
Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the warehouse supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
Excellent organizational skills and time management.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus (training provided if necessary).
Basic communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
