We are looking to fill this position in our Sterling, Massachusetts facility. Relocation and/or sponsorship benefits are not available.
Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: Maintain and facilitate the maintenance of system data, inventory control procedures, and a variety of reports necessary for timely business management and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform blend BOM (bill of materials) updates as directed by PDM (production data management), production or plant manager
- Check IC (intercompany) completions daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed
- Check WebEFF entries daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed
- Check WO's (work orders) daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed
- Make list of any notes on travelers concerning updates to inventory and pass to PDM
- Assist with trouble shooting inventory issues as needed throughout the plant
- Perform scrap transactions as needed
- Direct plant activity for accurate and timely inventory control
- Other job duties/tasks as may be assigned
- Assist in weekly, monthly and annual inventory counts
- Manage raw material inventories
- Reconcile appropriate company databases
- Collect and reconcile daily summary sheets, data entries, and scrap entries
- Work with various departments regarding needs and issues
- Manage all aspects of scrap
- Other job duties/task as may be assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (will consider a combination of experience and education)
- Ability to organize and prioritize work activities
- Ability to handle multiple projects/job duties simultaneously
- Ability to read, speak and comprehend English
- Detail oriented with a strong work ethic
- Basic mathimatical skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues as they arise
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level, frequently
Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stretch or stoop, frequently
Able to reach with hands/arms; and push/pull (overhead; shoulder; below waist), frequently
Able to perform repetitive motion activities (wrists, hands, and/or fingers), consistently
Able to perform work requiring visual acuity (preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer termination; extensive reading), consistently
Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
