PURPOSE: Direct the repair and preventative maintenance of injection molding machines and automated equipment.
Shift: Nights (7:00pm-7:00am)
Responsibilities
1.
Serve as a Front-Line Leader for the MM Department.
2.
Direct the repair of molding machines and automated equipment.
3.
Investigate and implement corrective actions for issues that negatively affect MEEF and scrap
4.
Keep up to date regarding priority changes and communicate them to the MM Department.
5.
Communicate information to departmental personnel as needed.
6.
Seek training for continuous improvement of the department.
7.
Assist departmental personnel to seek out and receive appropriate training.
8.
Motivate personnel to find ways to improve equipment efficiency.
9.
Facilitate administrative information and training opportunities to the MM Department.

Assume control of equipment when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of a machine.

Insure a safe and healthy work environment and lead the safety efforts for the department.
12.
Address personnel problems and coach employees for future growth.
13.
Maintain and enforce all HAACP, GMP, and Safety rules and guidelines.
Qualifications
1..
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
2.
Equipment specific knowledge on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
3.
Dependable and motivated with a good work history.
4.
Accepts responsibility for work performed.
5.
Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
6.
Good computer skills.
7.
Must be able to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reactions.
8.
Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
