Our Opportunity
Chewy is hiring an App Marketing Manager to help drive app installs, increase app engagement, and continue to make the Chewy app the primary destination for all our customer’s pet’s needs. The ideal candidate is data-driven, innovative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about app engagement, mobile marketing technology, measurement, ad platform functionality, and audience segmentation. The ideal candidate has experience in all these areas and can quickly shift between each one to help the team succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Help increase Chewy app installs by creating and owning a roadmap for driving app install opportunities on our owned channels.
- Work with channel owners and a variety of internal teams across the organization to create and execute app install placements.
- Manage the day-to-day testing and analysis of owned placements across our channels to increase conversion and drive customers into the app.
- Collaborate with the native app product team to enhance the customer journey for new app installers.
- Assist with paid install marketing projects. Help define the direction, creative, and deployment for new paid opportunities and help analyze performance.
- Analyze app marketing channels (paid/owned/organic) to help determine areas of opportunity.
- Monitor app install and app engagement performance using a variety of internal and third-party tools.
- Be a subject matter expert when it comes to app competitive analysis and opportunities for App Store Optimization.
- Assist with the deployment of app-related messaging, such as push notifications, app inbox, and in-app messaging.
- Craft creative briefs and work closely with our Integrated Marketing Team on large scale brand campaigns to represent the app marketing team.
- Work closely with Product Marketing to ensure the apps value propositions are positively reflected throughout the organization.
- Craft, execute, and analyze structured A/B tests for owned install placements, and in-app engagement programs.
What You’ll Need
- 3-5+ years of app / customer engagement marketing and/or paid marketing experience.
- Mobile app experience for a large retail or corporate brand.
- Experience working across internal teams to get projects executed in an efficient manner.
- Ideally- Experience working with paid marketing campaigns to drive app installs. (ex: Meta, TikTok, Google)
- Technical skills to understand app performance tracking and app measurement solutions.
- Some experience with app specific attribution (MMP’s) and app engagement tools. (Braze and Appsflyer a plus)
- Experience using a variety of app analytics tools, and experience measuring app specific campaigns. (SQL skills a bonus)
- Ability to focus quickly shift between focus areas to help the team succeed.
