Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking an Associate Instructional Designer to join our Pharmacy, Learning & Development team! The position will design and develop training to support Chewy's Pharmacy team. The responsibility includes the intake, creation, project management and maintenance of this training. Additionally, strong partnership with all internal partners, and frequent independent judgement is essential. The person in this role is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Chewy’s brand and strategy and adhere to our Operating Principles and mission.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop training to support our Pharmacy teams in a variety of modalities and applications that appeal to adult learning styles.
- Conduct analysis, planning, manage design, development, and partner with the business to identify impacted audiences and how the training solution will be implemented.
- Provide a smooth hand off of learning solutions to the training delivery teams and program owners.
- Apply project management principles to create impactful learning solutions.
- Ensure effective impact of our learning solutions by gathering participant feedback.
- Ensure learning solutions are engaging, reflective, and actionable.
- Partner with key collaborators throughout the process to ensure learning solutions align with expectations.
- Help ensure consistent learning methodologies are designed and scalable across geographically dispersed workforce.
- Collaborate with Learning Systems Administrator and Instructional Designers to deploy training in the LMS that creates the best end user experience.
What You’ll Need:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, and Smartsheet's.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience in project management.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on key priorities despite conflicting demands.
- Strong professional presence and ability to communicate constructively with all levels of the organization.
- Strategic and critical thinking skills to ask the right questions when identifying a training need and how to differentiate a training need from communication or process.
- Position may require travel (<10%)
Bonus (if applicable):
- Previous Contact Center and or Fulfilment Center experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design
- Leadership certifications
