We are hiring a Reclaim Operator at the Alsip, IL location for nights. The Reclaim Operator performs various tasks in the operation and maintenance of the reclaim machine and scrap guillotine.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and operates reclaim machine
- Executes color and material changes as needed
- Increases productivity while meeting quality standards
- Responsible for proper maintenance of machine as designated
- Follows AIB Good Manufacturing Practices per written procedures and practices
- Competent in Dc LINK Capable of using accurate scanning scripts as needed.
- Must be able to use JDE to enter production and print labels
- Properly scans scrap out of inventory to reprocess
- Capable of starting up and shutting down the line correctly and safely
- Properly and safely completes screen changes as needed
- Properly and safely completes blade changes as needed
- Sorts out and inspects scrap for foreign materials prior to introducing into the conveyor and shredder to avoid damaging equipment and contaminating product.
- Ability to handle multiple task such as using the guillotine while monitoring repro operation.
Performs other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
