Job Summary
Maintains the responsibility and authority for processes involving the warehouse. Understands the entire Warehouse cycle and its interaction with other departments. Enforces all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards for the warehouse. Responsible and has authority for receiving, pick/pull and shipping processes. Determine staffing levels and assign workload. Lead warehouse personnel, coaching and communicating job expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
·Ensures procedures for subsidiary warehouse activities are met
·Confers with other departments to ensure warehouse material flow efforts are in conjunction with customer demands and priorities.
·Oversees adjustments in work schedules to ensure production schedules are met.
·Directs the on-going training and development of all warehouse and driver personnel by monitoring individual performance toward goal accomplishment, providing training directives and performing yearly performance evaluations.
·Responsible for maintaining inventory to ensure optimal efficiency.
·Responsible for managing the Cycle Count process.
·Maintain Warehouse supplies and equipment.
