The Warehouse Manager at The Willows Communications is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods from receipt to distribution. Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.
- Develops and implements warehouse policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Supervises and trains warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Optimizes warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and improve workflow.
- Conducts regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and addresses any logistical challenges.
- Monitors health and safety standards within the warehouse, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Prepares and analyzes reports on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Coordinates with external suppliers and vendors for the procurement of necessary materials and services.
- Manages the budget for warehouse operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation to minimize costs.
The Warehouse Manager plays a vital role in supporting The Willows Communications' commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of lean management principles and practices is a plus.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
