Responsibilities
Purpose: Responsible for management of all inventories(Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Supplies) and warehouse duties to ensure inventory accuracy and product is shipped to meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities/Principal Duties:
- Ensures warehouse area is compliant with all Safety and 5S requirements.
- Monitors and reports on all manufacturing transactions including receipt of raw materials, work in process transactions, finished goods production, raw material levels, and similar activities.
- Leads regular cycle count activities and ensures system inventory balances are correct.
- Monitors and coordinates Recycle material activities.
- Coordinates the receipt of raw material, additives, spare parts and general goods from suppliers.
- Reviews Open Order reports and schedules carrier pickups accordingly.
- Ensures all warehouse audits daily, monthly, and quarterly are complete.
- Segregates product to avoid confusion and eliminate errors.
- Prepares orders for shipment including coordinating all necessary paperwork for outbound shipment (not including certificate of analysis).
- Monitors and maintains accuracy of shipments by utilizing roll tracking and computer-based systems.
- Ensure FIFO inventory rotation.
- Monitor quality of packaging from manufacturing.
- Monitor and maintain accuracy of inventories levels of Finished Goods by line, customer and item.
- Coordinate the activities of shipping/receiving clerks and material handlers.
- Leads cycle count activities.
- Responsible for warehouse personnel forklift and safety training.
- Responsible for ensuring forklifts is safe and operational daily.
- Responsible for preventing nonconforming product from shipping to our customer.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse using 5S.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This statement considers the intensity and frequency that work is monitored: daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

Qualifications

- Education: High school education is required. Degree in Accounting, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. APICS(American Production and Inventory Control Society) training or certification preferred. Computer literacy essential; particularly Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years work experience with MRP/ERP software (JDE experience is preferred). Prior warehouse management experience preferred. Forklift experience is required.
- Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment and on the plant floor with frequent contact with others. Requires prolonged sitting and frequent bending, stooping and stretching, manual dexterity, the ability to distinguish letters, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and the use of office equipment.
Equipment:
Knowledge of and skills in the use of office machines (computer and copier) and business procedures.
Work Environment:
Job functions will be performed in and around production lines, warehouse, loading docks, silos’, Rail Spur, and office areas.
Internal and External Contacts:
Primary contact is with internal customers. Frequent contact with Logistics vendors and Carriers; some contact with external customers and suppliers. Excellent communication skills are essential.
