Responsibilities
- Must follow all Company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance.
- Able to performs job duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to the Section Operator.
- Must ensures a quality product through regular quality checks by reading and verifying line orders and spec sheets.
- Reports any out of spec products as needed to ensure a quality product is been produced. .
- Properly packages finished goods to include correct use of labels, chips, sleeves, twist ties, pallet patterns and code stamps.
- Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns.
- Maintains clean work area; meet plant and department housekeeping standards. May be assigned additional housekeeping responsibilities throughout the plant as needed.
- May be assigned to multiple winders, bag machines, etc., based on bag count and line speed, as deemed necessary by management.
- Must be able to constantly bend, stoop, and climb to perform regular duties of the job.
- Able to operate multiple production lines as needed.
- Responsible for making boxes and packaging bags.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, preferred.
- Experience in a team-work oriented environment a plus.
- Working knowledge of extrusion/converting equipment and process desired.
- Manufacturing experience preferred
