Chewy is currently recruiting a Procurement Manager on the Procurement Program Management team reporting to the Manager, Procurement III at our headquarters in Plantation, Florida. Chewy is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce enterprises around and is rapidly disrupting the traditional pet specialty channels. As a Procurement Manager, you will support the Procurement Team and oversee Procure to Pay (P2P) activities. This role is instrumental to drive process standardization and organizational improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Work collaboratively to define and document business requirements, support implementation of various strategies, processes, and technical tools
- Support purchasing requisitions and create the corresponding purchase orders, change orders, provide internal user tracking, etc
- Demonstrate flexibility in supporting Procurement activities across different projects
- Manage the buyer actions in Coupa and proactively resolve purchasing problems with requisitions and invoice discrepancies
- Work with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Manage the Procurement mailbox, Procurement intake form and Service NOW request for new supplier creations for Oracle/Coupa
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Program Management team
- Update and maintain SharePoint sites for the Procurement Team
- Manage Purchasing Card (Pcard) process and transactions
- Manage the Procurement contract repository
- Develop and provide regular Procurement reporting (i.e. spend reports, savings reports)
What You'll Need:
- BA or BS required; MBA preferred. Procurement Certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing and procurement. Global experience a plus.
- Demonstrate initiative and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical background
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills internally and externally
- P2P system experience, Coupa experience is a plus
- Advanced knowledge and experience in SharePoint, Tableau, and SmartSheet
- Gatekeeper experience a plus
- Strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
- Intermediate to Advanced level Excel proficiency
