The Finishing Lining operator Under direction of the Production Supervisor, operates high speed lining and assembly machines, printer, assembly equipment and highlighters. Performs quality checks and produces finished goods according to work the order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Safety is our #1 priority
  • Performs all tasks necessary to operate equipment according to procedure.
  • Implements customer required quality requirements by performing specified quality
    checks/inspections per the work order.
  • Packages and labels finished products according to the work order.
  • Perform line clearances at completion and start of orders.
  • Communicates key items within the plant environment on safety, quality, maintenance,
    production and continuous improvement.
  • Follow work instructions as needed and may be asked to train others to those instructions.
  • Performs root cause analysis when problems arise to determine if actions can be taken
    immediately or appropriate personnel need to be notified.
  • Removes scrap material from the production area.
  • Maintain 6s environment in the work area.
  • Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other
    regulatory requirements and has the authority to report concerns that could impact these
    requirements or suggest areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Team player who enjoys partnering with others, including management, to make plant improvements.
  • Possesses well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment.
  • Possesses forklift experience is desirable.
  • Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and is very detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.  
  • Basic computer experience is necessary.
  • Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing and lifting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task environment.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is desirable.
