Position Overview:
The Senior Finance Specialist will be integral in steering the company’s financial strategy, overseeing financial reporting, year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role demands a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of the financial mechanisms that drive a successful manufacturing enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Manage the year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, staying abreast of changes in tax regulations and ensuring the company adheres to all applicable laws.
- Collaborate with external auditors and advisors to ensure proper compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial audits.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making, identifying opportunities for performance improvement and cost reduction.
- Enhance financial policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring the integrity of financial data and efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent is preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial management, including expertise in year-end closing, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
