Responsibilities
Responsible for organizing warehouse, coordination of warehouse activities. Responsible for ensuring that all paperwork relating to the movement of merchandise, within the plant/warehouse are performed efficiently. The warehouse supervisor is responsible for the operation and supervision of all warehouse activities. They ensure all stock is received and processed in accordance with proper procedures. They ensure sufficient staffing to handle their workload during shifts, as well as review and ensure all work is conducted in the proper manner.
Position Responsibilities:
- Promote safety, food safety awareness and keeping safety as a number one priority on a daily basis.
- Support our culture of 5S organization and accountability on the floor, driving safety & efficiency.
- Execute all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors; printing and pulling warehouse transfers and orders. Assembling loads for other facilities as needed.
- Prepare skids and assemble finished orders, then loading shipments.
- Receive incoming shipments, then inspect and store merchandise or materials. Restock and meet production’s needs.
Essential Functions:
- Lift, push, pull, and move up to 50lbs.
- Walk, sit, see, hear & communicate regularly.
- Occasionally stretch, bend, climb, balance, stoop or kneel.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Safe operation of all equipment, including fork truck fleet. Cannot be afraid of heights.
- Wear all personal protective equipment required by Company policy and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work appropriately.
- Solid understanding of process and equipment capabilities
- Excellent attendance and safety record.
