Responsibilities
POSITION:
Day Shift 8am-8pm swing shift. Responsible to ensure essential raw materials (resin, additives, and packaging materials) are made available at machine location to complete production. Stretch wraps WIP/finished goods and transports packaged materials to warehouse/storage/holding area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews orders and supplies machine location(s) with needed materials.
- Attaches hoses and/or locates gaylords or other materials in the proximity of equipment.
- Removes finished good from production area and prepares/packages and palletizes film rolls according to order specification.
- Completes/inspects/labels finished goods, WIP, and scrap requirements as specified. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Completes inventory processing to account for finished goods, WIP, raw materials, packaging supplies and scrap materials.
- Enters work order data into production system via scan, data entry, or similar means.
- Ensures finished goods packaging is free of defects and meets shipping requirements.
- Moves final product to warehouse for processing.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three years related material handling/fork lift experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math and measurement taking skills.
- Good computer aptitude and experience.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts and provide overtime coverage for off shift when needed. 36/48 hour bi-weekly work weeks.
- Be able to perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
