Job Summary
Supervise and assist the Sales Operations Account Management and National Account Managers with the Sales and Operations Planning process preparation and execution. Works extensively with department and company leadership to provide concise, meaningful, and timely information pertaining to the development and execution of the Sales and Operations Plan. Present both the Supply & Demand Planning issues through the process. Key outcome of S&OP cycle is for each stakeholder to clearly understand risks & opportunities for executing sales plans – with ownership of actions to abate risks & seize opportunities.
Essential Job Functions *
- Maintain OP rhythm of S&OP cycle – demand, supply, finance & executive reviews.
- Supervise and lead the Sales Operations Account Managers
- Assist or facilitate each step of OP rhythm – ensure stakeholders understand the latest changes and are taking appropriate actions to respond to those changes.
- Identify, then drive resolution of issues that prevent achievement of Hillman’s sales plans (with satisfactory delivery performance to our external customers)
- Continuously improve Hillman’s S&OP process
- Gathers all necessary data and supporting documentation to provide to leadership pertaining to development/execution of Sales and Operations Plan.

- Validates channel sales forecasts, aggregates validated data and generates summaries and reports for leadership.

- Communicates supply and demand gaps to Sales Managers and Account Managers.
|
- Identifies variances to business plan and potential solutions.
|
- Acts as project manager for overall Sales and Operations Planning process to keep leadership apprised of potential issues, changes, and misalignment.

- Attend and assist team with preparing for the Executive S&OP meeting.
|
- Prepares forecast to actual analysis.
|
- Occasional domestic travel.
- Report to Sales Ops Manager weekly with updates on the team, including any incompetencies.
- Hold bi-weekly meetings with the Sales Ops team to make sure they are on track with projects.
- Do mid-year and year end reviews of the Sales Operations Team.

Education & Experience
- Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Customer service associate
- Minimum 1 year supervisor experience
- Exemplify a strong positive attitude and team oriented.
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows Operating System.
