Essential Functions: - Return any left bulk or components to inventory or to labs.
- Purge and dispose of all expired raw materials, components and bulk monthly as scheduled.
- Fulfill and deliver Demi Grand Stock components to support the daily lab requests.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping in all areas.
- Adhere to all Quality and Safety rules.
- Actively participates in safety improvement programs.
- Other duties as assigned by Management/Supervisor of the area.
- Participate and drive all organizational initiatives in lab logistics group.
- Maintain inventory of consumables and drive the centralized campus distribution of items to all consumers.
- Ensure all unit prices in the system are accurate and assist in monthly chargeback reports.
- Prepare and maintain records of all inventory transactions utilizing inventory management system to assure accuracy.
- Organize and maintain inventory, compile inventory reports, and define re-order points based on the data (basic data analysis).
- Maintain defined stock levels for all materials managed order and re-stock the materials as needed.
- Interface effectively with customers and other departments to answer questions or solve problems.
- Cross-train to be able to fill in for all team members during absences or unexpected peaks in activity.
- Actively participate in safety improvement programs.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Drive forklift as needed.
- Once trained can work independently with little supervision.
Requirements:- Able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Forklift 3-5 Yrs. Exp.
- Basic computer skills are a must (Email, Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages a plus (AXAPTA, Power Pick Global, Pegase).
- Associate degree with 2 years a plus or equivalent experience, HS diploma with 5+ years. production environment experience.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively.
- Familiar with metric system of weights.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able follow direction and able to work independently or in a team setting with minimal supervision.
- Must possess sense of urgency and hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Need to be able to lift 50 lbs. and do material handling when needed.
- Functions under Safety and Quality guidelines of the Demi Grand.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
