National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Sit-down Forklift Operator for our location in Franklin Park, IL 60131.
Responsibilities include:
- Load, unload, move, stack, and count aluminum coils.
- Follow all safety standards and procedures required for the position.
- Operate assigned equipment efficiently and only after completing all required training.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and operate in a way that reduces maintenance costs.
- Prioritize job assignments to maximize overall productivity.
- Handle materials and operate equipment carefully to minimize product damage or loss.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
From 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
(occasionally Saturdays).
Pay rate: Regular Pay: $20.00 HR
Qualifications:
- Per our client’s request, Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
- Own transportation to ensure punctuality.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience operating Sit-down Forklift.
- A background check and drug screening will be conducted.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
- Two valid forms of ID.
- Steel toe boots (required for safety).
