We are looking for a General Laborer for construction projects to work as a 1099 subcontractor. You’ll be on active residential and commercial job sites in the Greater Cleveland area, helping our crews with demolition, clean-up, and day-to-day construction tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform construction site demolition (removing drywall, flooring, fixtures, etc.)
- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Keep job sites clean and organized (sweeping, trash removal, debris hauling)
- Go on material runs to suppliers when needed
- Assist carpenters, painters, and other trades with basic tasks and prep work
- Follow directions from the site lead and adhere to safety guidelines
Schedule:
- Typically Monday–Friday, around 6:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Occasional weekend work may be requested (rare)
- Prior general labor or construction experience strongly preferred
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting, bending, carrying, standing for long periods)
- Reliable transportation to various job sites and supply houses
- Dependable attendance and punctuality A MUST!
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew
- Starting pay: $18.00 per hour, paid as a 1099 subcontractor
- Paid weekly
