Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor at Pj Fitzpatrick is tasked with managing day-to-day warehouse operations. This role necessitates a proactive leader who can ensure efficient workflows, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards while overseeing a dedicated team of warehouse staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, providing leadership and support.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, verifying accuracy of orders and shipments.
- Implement and optimize operational procedures for improved efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to foster a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Train new employees and develop ongoing training programs for existing staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and information.
- Prepare performance reports and analyze operational metrics for continuous improvement.
- Address employee concerns, resolve operational challenges, and implement solutions.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
