We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to support our QC laboratory within Analytical Sciences. In this hands-on role, you will help manage daily QC lab operations, perform DS/DP release and stability testing, support method lifecycle activities, and ensure high-quality, compliant analytical data to advance our programs.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the QC Lab in Analytical Sciences:
- Oversee daily operations in the QC lab, ensuring efficient and compliant testing.
- Manage stability programs and ensure all testing is completed on time.
Manage Test Methods and Related Activities Life Cycle:
- Conduct method validation and optimization.
- Ensure proper handling of SOPs, deviations, CAPA, and change control.
- Perform and oversee DS/DP release testing, characterization and other necessary studies.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Draft and maintain testing protocols, reports, and summaries.
- Review documents to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Reagent and Equipment Management:
- Oversee reagent inventory, preparation, and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Ensure reagents and equipment are available and meet required standards.
Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
4–6 years of experience in a GMP QC or analytical lab
Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, ELISA, PCR/qPCR, CE, or similar techniques
Strong documentation skills and understanding of cGMP and data integrity
Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams
This contract role has an hourly pay rate of $55/hr. We are seeking a candidate who can be onsite at our offices in S. San Francisco. Relocation is not available.
