POSITION SUMMARY
The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the assigned station, ensuring efficient and high-quality production while leading and mentoring a team of employees.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Coordinate team activities and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
- Implement company policies and procedures through effective supervision and progressive discipline.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all completed installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions.
- Manage training programs and cross-training initiatives for team members.
- Keep accurate documentation of production records and labor accounts.
- Facilitate communication among team members and conduct regular meetings.
- Address any production issues or part shortages in a timely manner.
- Promote a clean and organized work environment at all times.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical documentation.
- Familiarity with production processes and software, including Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality control.
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
