About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Deployment Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for implementing our technology solutions at client sites, combining technical expertise with exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, possesses both hardware and software implementation skills, and can effectively plan and implement complex technical projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site technical implementations, including hardware installation, configuration, and software deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-deployment phases
- Develop and execute detailed project plans using Jira to track milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and support engineers
- Provide technical guidance and training to clients on system operation and maintenance
- Document installation procedures, system configurations, and technical specifications
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implementation efficiency
- Travel to client sites (approximately 30-40% travel required)
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical implementation of hardware and software systems at client sites
- Strong background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles and applications
- Experience creating and managing project plans alongside other technical professionals
- Proficiency with project management tools, Jira preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to perform hands-on physical work, including lifting equipment up to 50 lbs, working in various environments, and extended periods of standing/walking
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field (or equivalent relevant professional experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotics systems, programming, or maintenance
- Background in warehouse automation technologies or solutions
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Professional project management experience or certification (PMP, Scrum, etc.)
- Experience with integration of different software and hardware systems
- Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols

Salary: $75,000-125,000/annually depending on experience
