Position Summary
Swank is seeking a temporary Recruiting Manager to attract the best and brightest talent for their company. You will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Human Resources and other leaders to identify staffing needs and develop innovative and best in class recruitment strategies to achieve the organization’s goals. Your strategic thinking, strong understanding of talent acquisition methodologies, and exceptional communications skills will be integral to creating a positive experience for candidates and everyone involved in the talent acquisition process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement the Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality, diverse candidates. Utilize a variety of recruitment methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates. Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, make data-driven decisions, and ensure continuous improvement. Maintain program(s) to promote diversity and inclusion
- Create a positive employment brand strategy: Refine the brand strategy for talent acquisition to attract the best and brightest talent in collaboration with the marketing department. Set the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: Oversee the development and maintenance of job descriptions and job postings that accurately reflect the requirements and responsibilities of each position. Source, screen, interview, and hire candidates. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing requirements and establish hiring goals and priorities, as well as provide guidance on best recruitment practices. Implement the onboarding process including sending offer letters, creating onboarding schedules, and collaborating with hiring managers on necessary training to ensure new hires are adequately educated on Swank's benefits and other pertinent company information. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
- Identify and maintain positive vendor relationships: Identify, build, and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors to support recruitment efforts as needed. Monitor vendor expenses and ensure contracts are cost effective
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-4 years of full lifecycle talent acquisition experience preferred
- Proven experience recruiting for a wide range of roles across various departments, including Accounting, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Human Resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidential information and work in a team environment, with a strong customer service focus required
- Possesses good organizational/time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards
