National Star Services, a facility management company with over 26 years of experience, offers a diverse range of nationwide services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Waste Burner Laborer in Des plaines, IL 60018.
A day as a Waste Burner Laborer:
As a Regulated Waste Burner, your main job is to safely operate the burning machine to dispose of regulated waste, following all safety and environmental rules.This includes starting and stopping the machine, adjusting settings for proper operation, and doing regular maintenance to keep it working well.You'll also need to monitor the burning process, making sure temperatures and other factors are correct.Keeping accurate records of the waste you process and Reporting any problemss that may arise. Additionally, you'll participate in training to stay updated on best practices in waste disposal.
Schedule available:
Monday through Sunday (2 days off during the week)
11:00 am to 7:30 pm (training for one week)
Original shift hours are from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am
Pay rate: $17.00 hour (bi-weekly pay)
Additional Requirements:
- Bilingual: : Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse team.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Availability: Must be available to start as soon as possible.
- Work Boots: Must have and wear work boots as part of the required personal protective equipment.
