Responsibilities
The Maintenance Manager will manage the plant's Electrical, Mechanical and Facility Maintenance activities to ensure a safe and profitable facility. Coordinate day to day activities within the Maintenance department to balance staffing, workflow, eliminating bottlenecks that can hinder plant production. This position also handles assists in all environmental programs for the facility. Lead & oversee the operation of the Maintenance department including safety, quality & productivity while meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations. Minimize downtime through training, team building and process improvements. Develop and enforce plant and departmental policies and procedures. Manage capital expenditure projects.
- Follow all Company policies as outlined in Handbook
- Follow all Berry GMPs, Safety Absolutes and Safe Working Policies
- Follow and drive the safety and food safety culture
- Monitor, track and analyze production efficiencies in Manufacturing.
- Direct capital program for the facility, including costing, justifying where applicable, procurement, installation, cost control, etc.
- Direct the Environmental programs for the facility.
- Coordinate all new installations and machine/facility rebuilding or repair
- Delegate daily work assignments.
- Meet operational needs and requirements within budget.
- Plan and organize work to meet schedules and timelines in an environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.
- Develops or revises standard operation procedures and observes team to ensure compliance with standards and procedures
- Design and implementation of safety equipment for plant equipment and compliance of plant and equipment with OSHA requirements. Assure new equipment reviews are conducted on all new and modified equipment
- Promote plant goals such as Safety, Quality, and Production.
- Develop preventative and predictive maintenance programs that will help in reducing overall unplanned down time and increase overall equipment reliability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or10 – 15 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 5 years’ experience in a management role
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Results oriented and able to handle multiple projects.
- Must possess good communications skills, both written and oral.
- Demonstrates organizational and team building skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, numerical, statistical, computer and reasoning skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel experience.
- Must be able to assemble, analyze, and present data.
- Strong presentation skills.
