National Star Services, a facility management company with over 26 years of experience, offers a diverse range of nationwide services. We are currently seeking for Bilingual Propane Sit Down Forklift Operators in Franklin Park, IL 60131.
Job Summary:
- Verify Coil Specifications
Review the job traveler to confirm that the staged coil matches the specified gauge, width, and customer requirements prior to un-packaging. - Initial Inspection for Damage
Conduct a thorough visual inspection of the coil for any signs of damage resulting from shipping or handling. Document findings and immediately notify the line supervisor of any issues. - Outer Wrap Removal
Safely remove and discard the outer protective wrap from the coil to prepare it for further processing. - Defect Detection and Reporting
Carefully uncoil approximately 10 feet of material to inspect for surface or structural defects. If continuous defects are observed, halt further uncoiling and promptly inform the supervisor for further evaluation.
Schedule: 1st Shift
Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay rate: $19.00 HR
Overtime: $28.50 HR! | Bi-weekly pay
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for this position to effectively engage with our diverse client base.
- ️Must provide two valid forms of ID.
- ️Must have an updated resume.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Propane Sit Down Forklift.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Wear steel toe-boots during work hours.
- Must have experience in Shipping and Receiving.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability to work overtime.
