Position Overview:
We're seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant who can efficiently manage daily administrative duties and serve as the main point of contact for communication between our warehouse team and our designers, The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks with ease and professionalism.
Administrative Duties:
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, scheduling, and managing phone/email inquiries.
- Process paperwork for shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for incoming/outgoing inventory.
Communication Coordination:
- Act as the primary communication bridge between designers, office staff, and warehouse personnel.
- Clearly communicate project timelines, delivery updates, inventory statuses, and logistical issues.
- Handle inquiries from designers promptly and professionally, escalating issues appropriately.
Inventory and Order Support:
- Assist in processing purchase orders, confirming inventory availability, and tracking order status.
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure accuracy of items shipped/received.
- Assist warehouse management with organizing inventory checks and managing product information.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Handle miscellaneous tasks as needed, including client follow-up, troubleshooting minor issues, and supporting special projects or company events.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of office spaces.
- Provide occasional support in warehouse operations or logistics spaces as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior administrative or office support experience preferred; experience in furniture/design industry a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with designers, warehouse staff, and external vendors.
- Ability to adapt quickly and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation for this role is $17-19/hr, depending on experience.
