The Position:
We are hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Associate/Driver whose primary responsibility will be working in the warehouse with occasional driving responsibilities. When not driving, the position’s responsibility will be to support the Warehouse Manager in operating a safe, efficient, and organized warehouse. This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Warehouse Manager with direct responsibility to the Internal Operations Manager.
Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Support warehouse operations including organization and maintenance when not on driving assignments.
- Safely load/unload equipment from trucks, ensuring secure transport and proper inventory tracking.
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of GTC’s tent inventory, components, and assembly processes.
- Efficiently pull and restock inventory to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Verify that all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and properly stored after use.
- Inspect returned equipment for damage, cleanliness, and functionality; report necessary repairs or maintenance.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a current DOT medical certificate.
- Ability to effectively use technology for tracking deliveries, inventory management, and communication.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally in English (bilingual in Spanish a plus)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physically capable of frequent bending, squatting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift to 75 lbs., push up to 100 lbs., and maintain full range of motion.
- Forklift certification or experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Experience with tenting or event setup is a plus but not mandatory.
