Assures by continuous visual inspection that all documentation is being received to the correct location, is filled out completely and accurately according to quality standards and guidelines in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Notify the Shift Supervisor or Production Manager of any safety, machinery, raw material, quality, preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, packaging or documentation concerns.
• Point person for production operators, mold techs, etc. for any questions regarding documentation.
• Responsible for the preparation of Travelers and labels for the production floor.
• Daily continuous inspection of all documentation used for production reporting and batch record purposes.
• Works closely with all department personnel to ensure all workorder changes are effectively communicated to guarantee all necessary information is being documented correctly and in a timely manner.
• Keeps all documentation organized while in use on production floor, collects completed batch records, checks for completion of documentation, electronically scans batch record to appropriate personnel, and files documentation as directed.
• Trains new employees in the batch record procedure.
• Assists with obtaining and documenting correct lot numbers for raw materials as needed.
• Performs Packer/Handler job duties as needed.
• Various other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain knowledge of and comply with ISO / SQF documentation requirements.
• Good computer skills.
• Regularly required to stand or sit for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Frequent exposure to production floor; required use of PPE including but not limited to: Bump Cap, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hair/beard nets, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask.
• Must be able to frequently lift, bend, sit, stand, walk, and reach to perform necessary job functions.
• Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.
• Must be able to identify alpha / numeric product codes.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and over-time.
• Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
• Good communication skills--verbal and written; ability to effectively communicate.
• Ability to work well independently or in a team environment; displaying ability to work and deliver results in a fast-paced, performance driven environment.
