Required Education and/or Experience

Work Environment
Position is an indoor warehouse setting with moderate noise levels including voices, office equipment, and foot traffic sounds. Employee may interact with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments.

Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring accurate movement and storage of goods in warehouse. May work on own or as part of a team. Routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard warehouse equipment such as scanners, printers, trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

·Carry out tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
·Wearing proper safety equipment and always follow all safety codes.

Must be able to perform the described duties and the following Warehouse functions: RECEIVING, PARTS PULL, SHIPPING, or CYCLE COUNT
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
WAREHOUSE FUNCTIONS
Receiving
Unload material, sort incoming truck shipments and identify "rush" material.
Use hand-held scanner to receive material, store correctly and write discrepancies when needed.
Perform bin and inventory adjustments of material with system software.
Must be able to monitor inbound materials and cross dock.
Package, label, consolidate and move inventory to keep warehouse neat and orderly.
Identify & label inventoried or requisition items.
Parts Pull
Use hand-held scanner and printer to locate and pull parts.
Perform bin and inventory adjustments with system software.
Able to research and use deductive reasoning to locate misplaced material
Pull sales orders and production orders from start to completion.
Able to use cable spooler and cable cutter.
Package, label, consolidate and move inventory to keep warehouse neat and orderly.
Maintain Excel spreadsheet production order log.
Shipping
Utilize system software for sales orders in shipping, transfers, inventory return, bin adjustments and bills of lading, etc.
Utilize Shipping software and functions related including, exports, pricing updates, manual shipments, end-of-day and any other tasks related to the daily shipment process.
Ability to obtain freight quotes
Must be able to monitor inbound materials and cross dock.
Use of hand-held scanner to pull material for assembly item shipments.
Use best practices to package material for shipment, including skids, signs, crates, displays and Use of foam machine.
Use company vehicle to move material to or from other company buildings.
Load/unload trucks via hi low or pallet jack.
Thorough understanding of hi low lift capacities.
Maintain Excel spreadsheet production order log.
Maintain shipping department supply requirements.
Cycle Count
Familiar with system software in item master inquiry, sales & production orders, inventory allocations, adjustments of inventory, bin, serial and lots; as well as PO receipts, physical count process, cost and history transactions.
Familiar with system software reporting, including but not limited to, inventory cards and physical vs on hand reports.
Manage seasonal employees to accomplish cycle count recording during summer months.
Handle inventory projects as assigned.
Maintain the DISCREP bin, adjusting or locating material when appropriate.
Resolve inventory and cycle count discrepancies through research and interaction with various departments.
