Purpose: Construct, refurbish and repair mold components using manual or CNC machines.
Location: Erie, PA (ERPA)
Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities
- The Repair Technician will assist the maintenance manager in his duties including physical repair of machinery, equipment, and building. They must have technical skills and knowledge of various techniques such as machine repair, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, etc. to understand the needs of the facilities. The goal is to ensure that facilities are always in a good and safe condition with minimal downtime.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours repairing, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment.
- Primarily works for Tool Shop.
Qualifications
- Technical mindset.
- Assist with machinery repair and maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understand and use of safe practices for machinery and proper LOTO procedures.
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
- Knowledge and use of operating equipment (fork trucks and scissor lift).
- Knowledge of OSHA standards to be an active safety committee coordinator.
- Coordination skills for projects/work with approved vendors.
- Purchasing skills of items for machinery.
- Prepare maintenance schedules.
- Great communication skills.
- Excellent reliability.
- Great eye for detail.
- Ensure quality standards are being adhered to.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Able to lift 40-50 pounds.
- Driver’s License and ability to receive DOT clearance for the box truck(s).
- Basic knowledge of networking for running CAT 5 or 6 cables.
- Monitor service request and update maintenance manager on progress.
- Assist in snow removal.
- Assist in coordinating coolant changes.
- Compliance with ISO standards when in the associated area.
Preferences
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Or 3-4 years of experience.
- A technical background.
- Certificates.
